Flashback: Storming the Department of the Interior. April, 2010

Two of the coolest climate organizations, Rising Tide North America and Tim DeChristopher's Peaceful Uprising, staged this brazen sit-down strike in the lobby of the Department of the Interior in April of 2010.  The next day in the Washington Post it wasn't even mentioned.  Zero ink.

Those arrested were "temporarily" (i.e. "Watch your step") by President Obama's Justice Department the next month.  They had been charged with misdemeanors, NOT felonies.
