Very exciting news! The Pissed-Off Polar Bears are having a global Silent Film Competition to inspire filmmakers to make brilliant silent movies that we can broadcast onto buildings at the final presidential debate, campaign rallies, and other public events. The films should be a Call to Adventure, inspiring viewers to rise up, accept a greater purpose, and dedicate themselves to averting the greatest crisis humans have ever faced -- climate change.
You can win up to $2,000 (from a $3,000 pot). Films should be between 1 and 3 minutes long.
Deadline for the main contest: 11 p.m. Eastern time (U.S.) on Sunday, October 28, 2012.
Deadline for the early entry $500 prize (still eligible for the Grand Prize), 11 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, October 21, 2012.
